This record at times is the sum of its parts and the strength of its parts. At times, you can plainly tell the player from 100 yards away with your eyes closed, but then you can hear them echoing the ghosts of those who came before them. An incredibly brilliant record from 3 master blasters!

A very interesting album. At a few places I keep asking myself: Was this composed by Arnold Schönberg (or his disciples)? Anyway, I'm all for skilled musicians exploring the boundary (if one exists) between jazz and classical. Thumbs up!

I love this album because of the interplay between the 3 musicians and because I can play the album on repeat for hours and it sounds like a brand-new album every ~36 min. Also, my partner's ears pricked up right away when I played this one and and she's not a jazz fan per se.
