about

Stone - first part of the Lilith trilogy published by Sub Rosa from 1992 to 1995.

This recording is made exclusively with stones: struck, smashed, grated, granite or clay - all voices are stone, the photographs reproduced here were produced by a process involving the progressive overexposure of a sculpture by Hubert Kiecol. We don't know to what extent we are indebted to the Disciple Divinity House of the University of Chicago.
