Our very first record, still students.
4 LPs and 3 EPs we call Myths Foundation - 7 records for the 7 letters in Sub Rosa - made up our very first productions. Back then, we weren't contemplating starting a record label, we simply wanted to produce pretty complicated (and obscure) objects that could be listened to, read, and scrutinized. We released these items once we had enough money to do so, we had no resources, and we were still students. Slowly, one record a year, against sound judgment, we put these releases together through a series of defining encounters. This handful of records was meant to be the beginning of an adventure, And in that regard, they didn't fail.

Self foundation: architecture and perspective.
The initial project of Myths collection was spread out over a period of almost five years in a process of seven stages comprising 4 LP and 3 EP - for us, the basis of all our future work. At onset we had the intention of working without the fake support of definition - each artist enhancing his own personnal mythology by his very commitment of creativity by means of a system of simple propositions established by us. These intricate feedbacks soon formed the canvas of our work in progress developing in this way what it is convenient to call our rhizomes. To each his own - they were invented, to be built up and to be broken down again. Rethinking about this process, it is now clear that the very substance of the long-sought in the passion of the people who took part in this project - just as the discs themselves are the materialisation of this will. Thus the collection itself becomes the myth of our own origins. Self foundation: architecture and perspective. Apart form this, we have always contrived to fight the 'cliques' and ambient entertainment in order to propose the outline of a new lyricism that in this terrible time is more than ever necessary for our survival. Many things remain to be done.
